I am a new mother of preteens and a teen. The last time we went to disney we did character dinners and all the kiddy shows. I am wondering what to do with kids 12 to 15. I know they will enjoy it all but was wondering if there may be things geared more for older kids. Thanks....... :cool1:

As one who went to the at that age I loved to take advantage of all the rides, shows, etc. I wasn't one for the character dining but then again I don't do sit down dining really since I'd rather be experiancing the parks. They probably will enjoy the coaster/thrill style rides more but then again each is different! The best thing I can recommend is to get a guide book like Birnbaum's and get them involved in the planning process - if they help figure out what they want to ride the better it will go!

I'm a teen now, and I love the thrill rides, and the kiddy rides, character dining is it 'it' thing for me in the parks, and I love taking pictures and touring the parks. Fortunes Red had a great idea, about the guide books, you’re kids may not like the kiddy rides or character dining like I do, so get them to at least skin through the book and tell you what they would like.
