I was just reading some weight loss tips and had a thought. Let's put together a new list of tips that have been useful to us. The one at the top of the board is a bit old and I'm sure we have all learned some things on our journey.

I'll start!

You do not need to do this alone! Having support through out your journey is the key to success. Knowing that there are others walking the same road makes you feel as if you can accomplish anything. :) </b>

2. Conviction: Remember that you are in this for the long haul. Get used to the idea that you are not on a DIET, but are making a positive life change to last for the rest of your life.
 
Perseverance: to persist in a state, enterprise, or undertaking in spite of counterinfluences, opposition, or discouragement

that's what mirriamwebster says.

Don't Cheat: The real definition of a cheat is not eating french fries or a hot fudge sundae - a cheat is when you make a commitment to yourself to get healthy and you break that promise. The good news is that a cheat doesn't have to be the end of the world, if you fall (or jump) off the wagon, you only fail if you DON'T get back on it again!
