Anyone have tips for packing everything you need to and fitting it all in the suitcase or dufflebag?
Ideas for both driving and flying would be appreciated.
I lay out all my outfits first, same with kiddos, I make sure I'm not over packing clothes this way. I also make a list of everything I will need for about a month or so in advance, this way as I remember things I will add them to the list and then there's what I need to pack! I also go through the list as I'm packing and realize sometimes there's just things that just don't need to go, so I'm able to weed through as I'm going along on my list, I also mark everything off my list as I pack it. I start my list with the most important things that without question have to go, i.e., medications, tickets, magic express tickets, purse items that have to make it into my baggallini (i.d., credit card, cash) so I don't have to take the purse, then I go from there, such as types of clothes you can't do without, unders, sox (which believe it or not seem to be biggest item forgotten for a lot of people, self included! LOL!) shoes, and then I do bathroom things you can't do without, toothbrush, toothpaste, kids toothbrushes, (they always forget these things) shampoo, DEODORANT! LOL or special soaps you might have to have, shampoo's, brush, makeup, for guys their dop kit. You get the idea, what ever is most important, start your list off with that and build on your list from there. Like I said, if you start your list ahead of time you'll remember everything you need to take, also ask your family or a friend to listen to your list and see if your leaving anything off of it, or ask for their suggestions, this is always good to have someone else's opinion.
