How much do you tip for Mousekeeping?? And should the tip vary depending on how many people in a room??? I am trying to make up my envelopes but have no clue how much I should give.

We tipped $3.00 each day this past September and it was just DH and I. Since Mousekeeping was EXTRA good and nice to us (left left extra shampoo, conditioner and lotion for us to take home and made us a lovely pair of towel swans for my 50th birthday and told us to take it home), we left $10.00 on our last day.

We leave $10.00 a day. But for 2 people staying in a room, I would say $5.00 a day.

There are six of us staying in 2-bedroom at BCV. We are paying $ directly to WDW, so will have Mousekeeping each day. How much tip would be appropriate? I thought $10 seemed fair, but is it enough?

P.S. I know renting points would have saved a TON of $$$$$, but DGM has "trust" issues and would only reserve through WDW. Next time, I will be in charge of booking the room!

Just my thoughts...I travel with another adult and usually stay in values. I tip $1.00 per person per day. If they leave towel animals, extra towels upon request, etc., I tip more. I DO tip more when traveling with children.

It's just my husband and I and we leave the room pretty picked up. We leave $3 a day.

Tipping housekeepers is not a universal custom. Disney's housekeepers are registered as non-tipped personnel. You need not provide them any gratuity if you don't wish, and how much you provide them is really up to you. For those who do choose to provide something extra for the housekeepers, I've read ranges from $2 per day to $5 per person per day. Use your own discretion.

We're also on the dollar per person per day plan. Our family is good for three dollars a day !

We're a couple-we leave $5.00 a day.

We leave 5.00 a day - We have always had a clean room and Extra Towels (love that) :lovestruc

We are a family of 4 and I leave approximately $5/day. I've always tipped at the end of our stay, but I think next time I will tip per day. I never really thought about the mousekeepers changing day to day.

We generally tip one dollar per person in the room, paid daily, (there are five of us) but if we get two rooms at a value, I will usually leave three bucks in each room.
