Tips for maximizing DxDP for one day only?

But newest reports here on the DIS about 2016 plan say the "official rules" state children DxDDP TS credits CAN be used for adult meals. That it's always been the case that they're in a single pool, but now they acknowledge that. Also, newest reports state 2016 rules are in effect now.

Is there a link to the Disney's rules/policy that states this? While I have faith that the DIS boards might be right, when it comes right down to it, it's the Disney Policy that will be the ultimate guide.

Actually all of the 2016 brochures still state "Kids must order from kid's menus where one is available." There is no mention anywhere that children on the DxDDP can order off the adult menu.

As for the 2016 changes being in effect now, there have been more reports that they aren't than that they are. We've seen one report of trading a dessert at The Wave for some green beans and one report of trading the cupcake at BoG for soup.
