Due to schedule constraints, we will have to do MK and MNSSHP on the same day. We are staying off site in a vac. home almost 20 minutes away. We like to be at the park at opening. However, I don't know how feasible this will be. We are a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. (10 & 16 months). I am thinking the 16 month old will sleep in her stroller when she's tired. She does every other place. The 10 year old wouldn't take a nap even if we made him lay down.

I am thinking of possibly taking a dinner break around 4 ish at maybe one of the monorail resorts just to get out of the park for alittle bit. Any other suggestions on how survive such a long day? I figure someone must go at opening and stay all night when the parks are open real late.

That's going to be one long day, and your crew is going to be pretty woozy by nightfall, but you already know that!:p If that's the way it has to be, at least take a break at one of the monorail resorts [but not in any areas expressly reserved for resort guests only ;) ;) ;) ]. Dinner is a good idea; you can cool off and recharge. Also, I read on another thread about a family that rode the monorail for an hour in the afternoon - relaxing, enjoying the view (and the AC) and then gentle motion of Monorail Coral.

Oh, it just occurred to me that you could schedule some calmer indoor sit-down attractions (Hall of Pres, PoC) before your dinner break to extend the 'relax' time.

Have a great trip!

Yes, that will be a LONG day. I'd go over to the a monorail resorts for a late lunch so you can return in plenty of time for the start of the party (get to the park by 6:30p at the latest).

Maybe you could rent a boat at CR or GF for an hour. Those are great fun. There's one that fits 10 people (Pontoon Boat) that isn't very expensive.

You could also do a tour of each monorail resort as well.

Good luck!

You might also consider a break at FW. You could take the boat from MK, enjoy the buffet at Trails End, and the kids could enjoy the petting zoo and playground.
