Tips for crowds ?

I read that when there are early openings (extended hours) you should either get there early or avoid the park for the day... is it true ?

Should i try to get to every park during the magical hours or just avoid the parks these days completely ??!?

We've found that if you don't make the morning EMH that park is more crowded in the morning of that day, so if you don't get there early don't go until the afternoon when the EMH people start to leave or hop somewhere else. It seems the afternoon and evening of these days are normal crowd sized to us.

We try to use the EMH anytime we can...
We like the extra hour and don't mind getting up extra early to do so! We have found that the buses aren't as crowded in the AM and that we are usually done with 2-3 of the big rides by the time the park opens for everyone.
