Tips for arriving at MK in afternoon

There are so many tips for seeing MK at EMH (which we plan to do one day) but does anyone have suggestions for arriving late in the day? We might go on a Monday afternoon after being at MGM or go on Thursday for the new "Wishes"

We usually arrive at our hotel right about noon and it's customary for us to go to the MK for a leisurely lunch (first we grab a fastpass for Splash mountain or Big Thunder Mountain) and then do a couple of attractions (usually not too busy for Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's magic carpets and that area) and we usually watch the parade, too.

Go in with a plan. Get a FastPass first thing, enjoy an attraction or two while waiting, and get another FastPass as soon as your 'window' opens up.

If you're going to see Wishes, be SURE to stake out your spot early. If you have two adults and children, try to time it so that you have a FastPass for the kids to enjoy an attraction while one parent holds the viewing area for the family (good luck!!).

I'd make it an evening when you don't have a PS for dinner. Pick something up to eat while you're waiting for Wishes.
