I have one day to do a Disney park. I'm staying 2 nights offsite but getting in late afternoon so I will just go to Downtown Disney and walk around and eat. The next day I plan to be at Epcot when it opens. The past three times I've gone it was with kids and I didn't get to do what I wanted. What are the new and exciting things there? Last time was 10 years ago!! I'm think of getting the park hopper so I can do a different park in the evening for a few hours before I conk out. Any suggestions? What is new at MGM? Thanks for any help.

EPCOT is a full-day--or two day--park, so no hopper needed. It will keep you busy all day! And if you're bored or need a break, exit through the International Gateway and take a Friendship boar or walk to the Boardwalk for a change of pace!

I know Soarin' is new in the past 10 years, as is Mission: Space. Innoventions had changed quite a bit the last time we were there from my second visit in 2003. I believe Illuminations (evening finale) has changed a bit over the years, but not significantly since 2003. Spaceship Earth was rehabbed and reopened in 2007 or early 2008 (soft opening in December 2007). Narration and narrator are different, and there are some other changes.

Not sure about anything else. I had a long spell between my first WDW visit in 1981 (MK was the only park open) and my second visit in 2003! *LOL*
