Just started to get my holiday 'plan' ready. Sea world is the only place that I have no idea where to put! :confused3

Anyone got any idea what the best day is to visit?

Any other hints or tips would also be appreciated! Oh and we are visiting 23/9 - 10/5 :thumbsup2

The one piece of advice I can give is to look online and the SW schedule for whatever day you plan to go (weekdays are always better) and plan out what shows you want to see and schedule the rides around the shows. If you do that you may be able to see every show they have showing for that day and do all the rides. There aren't that many rides so it is easy to do the rides around the show times.

This is what our upcoming Sea World day looks like.

Entry at 9, ride something for 30 minutes.
Blue Horizons show at 10 so be at the venue by 9:40.
Show is over by 10:20, free time until 11:10.
Go to the venue for One Ocean show that starts at 11:30.
Show finished by 11:50. Go eat lunch for 40 minutes.
Go to the venue for A'Lure show that starts at 1 pm.
Show over by 1:20. Free time until 2 pm.
GO to the venue for Clyde & Seymore show that starts at 2:15.
SHow over by 2:35.
Free time until 4:25.
Go to the venue for the Pets Ahoy show that starts at 4:45.
Show over by 5:05.
Free time until park closes.

If anything happens to derail that plan we will just keep on with the schedule and possibly just miss the next show. We have seen them all anyway except for the Pets Ahoy so if we end up missing one because a ride line was really long then that's ok too. But by planning around the shows and filling in the free time with rides and exhibits you fill in the entire day from park open to park close.

By scheduling your day around the shows you will do some park zig zagging to get back and forth from shows to rides and rides to shows and exhibits but the park is not that big. Not to me anyway. It doesn't seem that huge when you are in it.

I always try to go to parks on weekdays when possible and if I have to do weekend days I try to pick Sunday over Saturday if at all possible.

That's excellent! Thanks for the info :thumbsup2

So you think a Sunday or weekday is best to go? We are hoping to see all the shows :cool1:

Visit during the middle of the week, but do GET THERE EARLY! Especially if you do want to ride the rides (The queue for Manta is insane when the crowds come)
Don't miss out on Journey to Atlantis, it's very underrated.
The Shamu show is incredible at night! - must
The other shows are cute and fantastic but if crowed levels are low it is very easy to plan.

And do take loads of breaks!
