Tipping

So I read through the guide and think I have the general idea of how much to tip and who but there was something mentioned that the tips could be paid ahead of time when booking your cruise. I have booked through DU so if I contacted my TA and wanted her to add on the suggested tips that would be okay? I would like everythingjust to be paid for upfront. Of course I wuld still bring along cash to tip for room service and the porters and of course if our servers are really great. Just wanted to know if this is possible to pre pay everything before you get on board the ship. Thanks

I have read other cruise lines are including tips in the cost, but not that they can be paid in advance. DCL does allow you to charge the tips to your account & then gives you little receipts w/how much you tipped to put in each envelope. I don't see any reason why you couldn't put some money towards your account prior to cruise & then just "use" that money to cover your tips.
