tipping

We tipped $5/day.

Mind you there were 7 of us staying at Ft.W cabin, but we are good guest(meaning we don't really make that much of a mess).

Hi, want2go2disney!

Tipping is discretionary. There is a guide somewhere--if not on these boards, then on www.wdwig.com.

We stayed at Yacht Club in August, For two people, we tipped Mousekeeping $4 daily, but since we're very neat and live out of our suitcases, we could have gone with less. They were incredible and went out of their way for us, as I was coping with an injured leg. Probably $1 per day per person if they have to pick up behind you to do their job, adjust accordingly if you're neat. Probably $2 daily minimum for 2 to 4 neat people.

Restaurant servers: pretty standard for anywhere in the U.S. 15% to 20% of the total bill before tax. If I don't order a beverage (I usually drink water with meals), I will include the cost of a non-alcoholic beverage in the amount when I calculate the tip.

Bartenders? I don't drink, so I don't know how to calculate that one!

Bell Service: $1 to $2 per bag. The larger and heavier the bag, the larger the tip!

Parking Valet: $1 to $2 each for parking and retrieval. If you drive a luxury car, you'll probably want to tip accordingly!

I probably missed someone along the way, but it's a start!

Enjoy your trip!
