I normally tip housekeeping at the end of my stay. But I will be staying for an extended trip this time, 8 days, and would probably feel better if I didn't wait til the end. Do most people tip once at the beginning or a little everyday? Also not to be nosey but how much do you tip? Thanks for your help.

We left a tip ($ 5) everyday in an envelope, clearly labled and some words of thanks. Sometimes it might be someone different doing the room (Mousekeepers have days off too.) so make sure it goes to the deserved. Everyday a towel sculpture was left for us and words of thanks and good wishes.
Some people go the extra step and decorate the envelopes.

Leave a small tip each day rather than waiting until the end of your stay. It's doubtful that you would have the same Mousekeeper every single day of your stay.

I had great fun on my last two trips printing special envelopes for each day's tip. I even went ahead and placed the money in each envelope before I left home. It was so easy to just lay out an envelope as I made my mad dash for the parks each morning.

We tip every day. That way if your housekeeper takes a day off she doesn't lose out.

I tip $1 per person. For me that would be $4 including the kids. We are staying 12 days so I have $44 put aside seperated into envelopes of $4. That way I don't have to think about it while I am there. I have a question for bellhop. What if you store your bags and go to the park then return later. Do you tip only the person that brings your bags to the room..or do you just keep tipping everyone? I am switching resorts and for bellhop I have 4 envelopes..for the people that bring my bag up and then back down. Do you normally tip the others?

I tip the guy who gets the bags from my room and the guy who brings them to me at the curb. At the next resort I tip the guy who takes the bags from the car and the guy who brings them to the room.
