I know in the restaurants to tip 15-20 percent. I usually tip more in restaurants if my two toddlers make a mess. Should I continue that at Disney?

How much should I tip our town car service--it's for round trip?

How much should I tip the maid service at the Dolphin? When do I tip?

Yes, I would tip the same in the restaurants. The Towncar we tip each way ( you could get a different driver) we usually get the same one, but once we had a different one. I think we tipped $10.00 each way (extremely pleased with Tiffany Towncar!!!). For the room we leave $1.00 per person per day. I think that is standard.

We always get in very early and our rooms are never done. So we store our bags and off to the parks. Now by the time we get back..usually there is another person bringing our bags up to the room. Same thing when we leave...we pack up early leave our bags for someone to come get them and head to the park. When we leave there is another person putting the bags into the car. So..my question is do you tip both?

And when you tip the driver each way with the car..our tip will be 20% of the total bill. So for example..if our Limo is 200..we tip $40..do you tip $20 each way or do you tip $40 each way?

Sorry to be so ignorant on the subject..but I was never taught the proper way to tip people so I just wing it. It wasn't until I got on this board that I knew to tip each day for housekeeping..I always just tipped at the end!

Thanks for the info!

Tip on the total service provided at the time car only half the service has been provided upon arrival. Are you taking a limo for the room? A towncar is so much less expensive? Sorry--if your total is 200 pay a tip of 20 and tip the other 20 on the ride back. I tip the person who collects my luggage from my car and hten the person who drops it in my room. Usually it is not the same person unless the room is ready right away. 1 to 2 per bag is appropriate.

We might not get a limo..we might get a van. There is a place called payless transportation that has pretty good rates. We need more than a towncar because we have 2 kids in car seats and 4 adults. We are also in two different resorts...so that added money to the Limo 20%..but only $10 more for the van. So, if the budget allows..we'll take a limo..if not we'll take a van.

I have been twice just my DH and I and we LOVE towncars..but withh this amount of people and luggage it's just not possible.

Thank you for the info..I really appreciate it;)
