It isn't expected like it is in the USA, we usually tip a few euros though unless we have had really poor service

It isn't expected as service is included in the price plus the staff are paid better then in the US

As in all restaurants in France/Europe you dont "have to" tip (as in the US), however tips are much appreciated. We usually tip about 5-10%, depending on the service we got.
