Tipping your server!

We tipped out entire trip, about $20 per server. I have a friend who works at Be Our Guest and come to find out they don't even get their tips. It just goes to the company!!! I wish I would have known before we spent a good $100 or more on just tipping. Has anyone else ever heard this?

That doesn't sound right. It would be incredibly illegal if the tips did not go to the staff or at least pool. I've never once heard that tips do not go to the wait staff as they are one of the few tipped positions on property.
