Tipping the bellhop question

The bellhop that will carry our luggage to our room will most likely use one of those cart things. Do you think $5 is enough to tip him/her?? Thanks!

It is customary to tip $1-$2 per bag.

I would agree $1 - $2 per bag. But no less than $5 total. These people dont have an easy job. You may be very nice to them but there are tons of "ME" people out there. They get tons of greif from these people all day and they are still expected to smile and be courtious.
