tipping room service

Hum... with all the posts recently about room service, just how much do you all tip for this? I can just see my kids, who will be in their own room, ordering whenever they are in the room.

Depending on the size of the order, $1 or $2. We bring a stack of ones along, and DD is instructed to give the man who delivers one when he brings the food.

We were told on our recent cruise that the room service tips are pooled and divided among those CMs at the end of the cruise, and that you can also go to Guest Services and make a "bulk" tip to the room service people if you'd like.

We gave about $2 each time for room service... Can't beat the chocolate chip cookies & milk at 10:00pm plus someone delivers it!! Wish I could get that service at home!!!!

Here is a great tip.. Order a caraff of coffee from room service the night before, it will still be pretty warm the next morning & you wont have to stroll to deck 9 in your PJ's to get a hot cup of coffee!!!

Thanks! I will be sure that the kids have a supply of single bills. My DD could live off of chocolate chip cookies!
