Hello :wave2:,
We have booked to go parasailing at Sammy Duvalls at the Contemporary with the Groupon deal :cool1:
Does anyone know what an appropriate tip would be for the boat driver? We are a family of 4 and will be going up in pairs.
Thanks!

I didn't tip when I went - never crossed my mind and we were the only ones on the boat.

Just trying to catch up on threads I missed while away. We paid for DS to go parasailing last month for his 18th Birthday. See post #261 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2954922&page=18

There was a sign at the exit saying something like "tips appreciated" I didn't feel as though they did anything over and above doing their job which they are paid to do so didn't tip. Don't believe the other 2 in the boat did either but can't be sure as we got off the boat first.

Great experience but I can't understand why they don't take one family at a time. Its not as if they have have to travel far to the middle of the lake. Both families wanted to take extra family but couldn't. Also means when 3 parasailers onboard you have to stay on the boat over 30 mins for a 10 min sail.
If they had made it more personal with just our family then I would have been more inclined to tip (maybe not, would depend on my generosity mood on the day)
