Tipping Etiquette

am i understandting you guys right? you tip the guy who takes your lugguage to bell services? i never have and am wondering what they thought of me. i have only had my lugguage go to bell services at coronado springs and we just exchanged our lugguage for a ticket and went and checked in. our room was ready so they loaded the lugguage on the golf cart and took us to our room. i tipped that guy only. we we check out, we usually take our lugguage ourselves.

when i stayed at animal kingdom lodge last year, no one even approached us to get our bags. we took mears and when we got out of the shuttle van, we grabbed our bags and went in to check in. our room was ready and we were directed to its location. no one took us or offered to take our bags.

this is my first time at a universal resort. we will be arriving at RPR in the morning (around 9:30) by mears. should i expect someone to want to take our bags to bell services? also, should i tip this person? i had definitely planned on tips for the bellhop who brings our lugguage to the room and the maid. i had planned on taking our lugguage down on my own when we leave; is this frowned upon? thanks!

I always carry my own luggage in.
Going to HRH in June for the first time. I'll park the car, we'll get out, carry our bags, check in, walk them up. Then I'll go back to the car and get the cooler. I usually have to make 2 or 3 trips, but I don't care.
