Hello :wave2:

We have arranged for a Mears towncar to pick up for our visit in October. It is a flat rate roundtrip.

Since it is a flat rate do we still tip each way? If so how much do you think is appropriate for 2 adults with 2 bags each, no stops in between?

Thanks!!! :goodvibes

The normal tip, assuming an automatic gratuity isn't being added, is 20%. You would give half that amount tip to each driver.

I'd think a different towncar company would give you a lower rate and even give you a free grocery stop. Even if you don't want groceries you might ask them to stop at a min-mart or even the Hess station so you can get bottled water and soda.

We used Tiffany on our recent trip; very pleased with the driver. When I made the reservations, I was told that a 20% tip was customary.

Thanks for the replies :flower:

Did Mears buy out Tiffany, vice versa, or are they seperate? I thought I read somewhere where Tiffany is now Mears or something to that effect.
