Tipping at ts restaurants and key to the world

I have a question about the disney dining plan. Since they said that tipping at table service restaurants is not longer included in your plan, can you "charge" the tip to your key to the world card or do you have to have cash? We rarely take cash to disney as we just put it on our room charges and we wondered how you do the tipping? TIA for your help!

I'm pretty sure my sister and I charged our tips to the room . We don't carry cash either.

if you want to avoid cash you could always tip with disney dollars.

i have had people charge me wrong amounts so many times that i try to avoid anything but cash these days. but since i want to mix things up a little i think we will convert our cash to disney dollars for the fun of it

I don't know that I would tip with Disney Dollars. I read a thread last year about leaving Disney Dollars for tips in the room for Mousekeeping. It sounded like it would be a lot of trouble for them to change the Disney Dollars for real money. It may sound "cute" to tip with Disney Dollars, but I don't think your server will have the same opinion. Just my 2 cents.
