We tried twice and was basically beaten out as we both arrived at the same time . We just walked out and let the other family do it. My daughter had no idea and I didnt tell her so she had no idea. what I found families are doing is telling the cms they have an early breakie reservation and walking in and standing at the rope till it drops at the castle and walking in to wake tinkerbell. Thought of doing that saying we had an early breakie but thought it wasnt that worth it to us and dd had no idea what she was missing. Woudl have been neat but thought maybe others could use this tip.
So say you have an early breakie ps and then walk to the castle and stand at the rope and when they drop it to fantasy land then walk right into the shop. Walk in the side door not the frontdoor too.
Good luck

I'd Love it if I got to surprise DD with a chance to wake up Tink, but I don't think I could lie to do it :( I really hope someone doesn't do it the day we try.

I don't understand how the family in question could lie their way in this way. All PS names / numbers are on a list, and the CM won't simply let you in the park because you say you have a PS. You have to be on that list. And if you make an early reservation simply to wake up Tinkerbell (meaning that you don't show up for breakfast), they'll charge your CC anyway, so you're paying just to wake up Tink? I don't see it.

is there a day that's better to try & wake her up--a day that's less crowded???

DOes ANYONE put tinker to bed???? CAN my dd be the 1st one to do that!?!? Can I start something new??? :confused3

:rotfl: I like that one!

I couldn't lie just to wake up Tinkerbell. I think the best plan of action to wake Tink is not to tell you kids & get there when the park opens & hope for the best. If your child doesn't know what you are trying to do they won't miss it. We are going to try in Oct..should not be too crowded when we go & hopefully my little DD (who adores Tink & will be Tink for mnsshp on 10/6 by the way!) will get to wake Tink...if not, I'll be bummed but the main thing is she won't know. :teeth:

YIKES! who would lie just to try for a chance to wake Tink?? i'm glad the OP said they didn't do this! honestly, what would you be teaching your children?? sooooo sad when waking Tink is more important than teaching honesty. some people will do anything just to make sure their children don't miss out on anything! some things just aren't that important.

In Dec. we tried to wake Tink, and when we walked in the CM said "Is this the little girl?", which confused me until another lady came from around the corner & said no. Turned out that the lady asked if her girl could wake Tink, and her girl wasn't with her. She did come in right after that, and was a teen. Another CM came over to us & said she felt bad about how we missed out by someone not even in the store, and said that if we were going to be there at closing we could watch Tink go to bed. We had never heard about that so we asked her about it, but it would just be watching the light go off.

What shop is it that does this and what does it entail? I have never heard of this. Thanks for the info.
