If a member of your party rents wheelchairs in the parks and really need a "ride" from the bus, try this.

When arriving at the park, get off the bus and wait on the benches nearby.

Send a member of your party on into the gates to rent the chair and have them ask a CM to escort the chair out to the bus to pick you up.

The same thing can be done when you leave the park in the evening.

We were able to do this at Animal Kingdom one day and it helped our friend a bunch.

After the first day, however, we got a complimentary chair from our resort and that solved the bus to gate problem quite effectively :-)

Thanks for the tip! That walk into the park can be too much for some people - they don't expect to get tired out that soon and it can make for a difficult start to the day.

Good tip. We've seen people do that and it does work great.
Also, I think a lot of people expect the bus stop is closer to the place you rent the wheelchairs than it is.
