Tip for meeting Rapunzel

When it has been raining that day she is not in her normal spot with dedicated queue ( full nearly an hour before she appears), she appears down underthe bridge by the petit train. Much easier to see and get access. She did on Friday then took off running, appearing in different places. She was really sweet. My four year old was thrilled.

Thanks for the tip. Good to see that there is a dedicated queue. My 4 yr old really wants to meet her, so it looks like we're going to have to get there early & join the queue. I see her first appearance is at 1330, does this means we should be there about 12? Don't know if she could wait that long though.

Thanks for the tip. It almost makes me want to hope for rain I don't think we would bother joining a queue that long but I have at least one daughter desperate to meet her

French schools are all back next week, with the exception of the Académies of
Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Rennes, Toulouse ( so it will be a lot calmer in the parks with a lot less queuing)

Thanks for that. For some reason, my daughters are off. They only announced the last week before Easter that they were taking extra holidays, so I went straight home to look for cheap flights. I've been hoping that everyone else would be back & we'd be the only ones there - wouldn't that be lovely!

It was a great trip for princess spotting, even without doing the lunch. Highlight when Jasmine pulled Orla into the parade for a dance.

We queued on the busiest day we were there last week - Easter Tuesday and went for the 3.30 slot, began queueing at about 2.45, she left about 3 came back for the 3.30 and I think we saw her about 3.45 so wasn't too bad considering she's a new character and it was very busy.

We were there three weeks ago and we actually found that a great place to meet the Princesses. It was later on in the afternoon and they would appear from the gate or fence- can't remember what it was now. We met different ones each day.
We met the mice from Cinderella one day. We'd just been standing waiting for my husband and little boy and they just appeared. There was only my little girl and another girl around. The mouse called my little girl over and they both had a dance together. It was a magical moment that I managed to get on camera.

we were there thursday, 3 little girls all wanting to see her...but as it was raining, well had been there were disney staff saying she wouldn't be coming. they said she would be in the 7pm parade but our little ones couldn't keep up the pace til then. we opted for character meals as the q's were too much for our little ones. found movie park better palce to find charaters, fell upon mary poppins and mulan and only waited 5 mns to see them. nice.

Did anybody notice what the queues for the other princesses have been like? The last couple of years they have been very long and I just wondered if they were any better now the princesses are out for a lot of the day.

Yesterday (1st May) around 4.00 there was a very short queue (15/20 people) for meeting the one from the Princess and the Frog ...this was being held just opposite IASW

the princesses switched after a while so you are not specifically queuing for one princess - unless the q is short and you can see. we saw one girl get a double hit as she was there at switch over time and got both. the q's were huge when we were there approx 40 people, a good 1hr-90 mins i reckon but our girls couldn't manage this long. they were happy just to see them though! we peered a lot!

thanks, we have a free princess and pirate meet and greet to look forward to in lieu of the party so hopefully we won't actually need to queue in the park. I guess if we do we will just keep checking the queue and hope one time it is not too long. My older two would wait an hour but no way my youngest would cope.

I know when I went for a few hours on the 22nd of April it was much much longer as the queue went ofor ever and you could hardly pass through there because of the people and pushchairs etc

Yesterday even though it was still holidays for some it was a lot quieter everywhere, no busier than a normal Sunday with nice weather

It's the compensation they are giving to people who had booked the pirate and princess parties because they have cancelled them all

Yeah we started queuing at cinderella, snow White took her place and we got very excited as we never met her last time, but by the time we got to top after 50 mins, ariel was there. Though after we finished we were getting a lollipop from the stand beside it, belle and the beast passed and waved at Orla. Two minutes later Snow White appeared for another swap over and told Orla she had a beautiful dress ( the highlight of her holiday, bless, even though no picture or autograph) , and we were walking back towards castle and belle and beast were signing by the fence , so we got a photo and autographs.

So did well out of it all
