Tiny sun? icon

What does it mean when you get an alert and it just shows a tiny little sun-looking icon there?

I'm wondering the same thing (and can't find any information on it).
The alert is blank (apart from that sun icon).

AFAIK, the little sun icon is just indicating a recent alert.

As to why the alert is blank - don't know.
