DD just turned 10 so we paid for her as an adult but she is tiny for her age, she's in the 5% for her age (about 54 pounds soaking wet) and a picky eater. DS is 7 and huge for his age, he towers over his sister and is in the 95% for his age group (about 76 lbs) and eats a lot. My question is this: what if we order an adult meal and a kids meal but DS eats the adult and DD eats the kids? We're going during free dining but with our park tickets we paid for one adult and one kid so we're not cheating the system but does it look bad since the wrong kid is eating the adult meal?

I can't imagine the server would really care who eats which meal. In fact since she's so much smaller than her "little" brother many servers might guess your daughter to be the younger of the two on casual observation. (In reality I'm sure upon just the briefest conversation, it's pretty apparent that she's older & more mature than her bro.)

Thanks DannysMom! :goodvibes I thought the same thing but I didn't want to seem like I was weaseling (is that a word? :rotfl: ) the system.

I don't see a problem with it. Honestly my 7 year old will probably eat more of my meal than I will in September and my 2 year old will eat the kids meal (since he is not on the plan). It isn't cheating you could give all of your adult meals to your child you just couldn't order more adult meals that you are alloted.

They won't care who eats the food after it's delivered to the table.

I have a 6 year old son who eats me under the table. I know I'm going to lose 3/4 of my meal because he'll still be hungry after eating the kid's meal.

My DD has ordered the child's CS for herself and the adult CS for her DD who was 5 YO. The CM does not care who eats the food so do what is best for your family.

I see no problem with what you are doing - even the DISboards "moral police" shouldn't complain as you are not "stealing" from Disney. :thumbsup2
