Following the advice of another thread I went to our local Dollar Store and found tons of Disney stuff! Then I found t-shirts at the $5 store! All of these things I will wrap and say Tinkerbell left in our Hotel room!
I shop at the Dollar Store all the time for Disney merchandise. Among the things I've found:
Tinker Bell nightlights
Tinker Bell and Winnie the Pooh wall appliques
Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, and Fab Five plastic placemats
Light up pens topped with Mickey Mouse and Stitch
Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh and Fab Five stickers (I use the latter, with stickers that have things like Mickey saying "Swell job!" and Minnie saying "Positively perfect!" to seal the envelopes I leave for Mousekeeping)
Tinker Bell and Winnie the Pooh light up yo-yos
And there's also all sorts activity books featuring Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, and other characters.
There's almost always some new Disney item there. All items aren't always available, but over the course of a few months you should be able to find a fairly nice selection of inexpensive Disney gifts.
All Disney (Mickey, Pooh, Monster Inc., they also had tink, and princesses but I only bought for my boy)
pens, lip balm, markers, cards, stamps, stationary kit, stickers, mugs, glasses, fork and spoon set, coloring books.
How much do you leave for Mousekeeping? Do you leave an envelope every day? And how much per envelope? Do you leave them on the nightstand, marked "Mousekeeping"?
(You can tell we haven't travelled in a long, long time!)
