:cheer2: To whomever told me about this: I read on the Disboard where someone would put tinkerbell treasures in their hotel room @ night for their kids. Well, I thought what a cool idea. So, before our trip, I went to target, wal-mart, etc. and bought Disney things and as soon as my dd would go to bed everynight, I would put it by the door. Every morning she would wake up, by Stitch and Mickey, of course, and would look over by that door to see what Tinkerbell left for her. she loved it!!! I had the best time doing it too. I had to buy 10 items for the whole week. Thanks to whoever thought of this! Can't wait to do it next yr. The day when went to Universal, I got her a spongebob paddle ball thingie.

Tinker Bell also left items for my DD. To add to this, Tinker Bell sprinkled pixie dust around and left a short message.

We do a similair thing and have since dd's first trip at age 2. Mickey leaves her some surprises in the room when we get there. We have done this for 6 or so trips and she is now 8, it makes the trip for her. It's not what he leaves but that he leaves it, that just makes the trip for her. He also leaves a personalized note. Mickey also leaves grandma's things and a note. We just took my MIL for the first time and Lexi's biggest thing was would Mickey
leave Nanny a present and note? He did When we walked in the Grandma's room there on each of their beds was alittle goodie bag and a note. Of course Nanny's note said how glad Mickey was she had come for her first visit and how Lexi could show her the ropes. Lexi was So excited over that, more than her own stuff I think. The funny part was my MIL was just thrilled and went on about it so much that my mom finally looked at her when they were alone and said" IT's All a SCam!" My MIL was so dissappointed to know it was me and not Mickey behind it. :rotfl: I think I get more fun out of planning it.

How does "Mickey" :earboy2: get the presents and notes in your room before you arrive? Does "Mickey" use a service? If so which one, and how much do they cost?

Thanks for the info. My sis, BIL, and 2 nephews are going in March and I would love to surprise them without letting them know it was me. :)

I did this when my son was 4 - he caught me putting it there the last day of our trip haha

I put it under his pillow each night
I did things like - disney $, trading pins, disney snacks etc. dispossible camera etc.

I am one of the ones that did the Tinkerbell treasures each night for my little girl. we even sprinkled what she calls pixie dust glitter etc... all over her bed and left her gift there too.. now that I think about it.. it was confetti.. that way we could clean it up and not the housekeepers.. didn't want to bother them with all this.
