Tinkerbell Presents:

We did this last summer and it was so much fun! Although some nights, Tink was so tired she nearly forgot! :lmao: But we did the pixie dust trail as well (warning- couldn't see what I was doing the first night and boy was there a ton of pixie dust! :rotfl2: ) I bought tshirts for the Disney store when they were on sale, DD got into pin trading while we were there so Tink would leave pins too.

Tink warning-after we came home, DD started loosing her teeth and she decided that she wanted Tink to come instead of the Tooth Fairy! Good thing I had some pixie dust left.

Disney Dollars are available from the Disney Store in increments of $1, $5 and $10 dollars I believe. They are easy to buy, even when your kids are around, just whisper to the cashier that you need Disney Dollars, the amount and in what increments and he/she will most likely, discreetly, ring them up for you and put them in your bag. Best of all, they're easy to pack because they're so small! They're accepted everywhere in the parks, too.

glow in the dark necklaces/bracelets for the parade at night.
princess tatoos
princess sunglasses
we "splurged" and bought new dress-up gowns on ebay and that is what tink left the night before our character dining
princess tees (my goal was to eliminate having to buy these things there)

The presents from Tink are a fun idea. I may do that next time. Last time dd received a typed letter on Princess paper & package of stickers from a princess each night. She also got a couple of little flashing light up pins from the same princess. I tried to make the letters match things I knew we would have done or would be doing in the parks the next day. I.E. Cinderella left her letter the night before dinner at Crystal Palace. Mickey & Minnie and Pooh also left letters and stickers. Lots of fun....

We did this on our last trip. My girls are 4 and 2.5. The first morning we were there 'Tink' left them a note saying that she had stolen some treasure from Captain Hook and hidden it in our room. She would leave more each night if we found all the coins (chocolate coins). This was a great way to get the kids out of bed in the morning and they really enjoyed the extra magic!

The chocolate coins were easy to pack too... I did run out of coins but I did find them at the WL gift shop.

We have a fun time doing Tink gifts too! Remember, if Tink uses her pixie dust, she can squeeze in just about any size package!! Here are some ideas:

* bathing suits
* goggles
* stacks of 2 quarters and 1 penny put in a mini m&m tube for the penny
press machines
* chap stick
* key chains to hang on back pack
* sticker books

I am doing this in Oct. when we go and I found a lot of really cheap but cute items at Michael's, Big lots, and 5 below...I haven't had any luck with the Dollar Tree but I've heard that you can get really great deals there! One thing that I am also doing because we are driving is getting a bucket (5 below has Tink and Cinderella aluminum trashcans) and filling them with goodies for the ride down. We are leaving in the evening so by the time my girls wake up in the morning we will only have a few more hours to drive and I want to surprise them first thing with these. So far I have gotten their fat Princess pens, clipboards, Disney coloring book and Princess crayons, disposable cameras, lanyards and a few pins, Princess toothbrushes and toothpaste, lots of stickers, notepads (Tink at Michael's, 2 in a pack for $1) pencils, new Princess Sing along CD's, and 2 new Disney movies. Then for the tink presents; autograph books, straw cups, new pj's, for Wednesday morning- princess gowns and invitation to the Princess Tea Party with Aurora, lightup spinning toys...that's al I've got so far. Also, you may want to consider getting glow necklaces and bracelets for the evening and nights you will be out. the dollor tree has packs for $1 and they have 2 necklaces and 2 bracelets in each pack, I also got a tube of thin glow sticks that you shape into a ball...there are 50 glow sticks and I only paid $5 at 5 below, I figured this would keep them occupied while we are waiting for the night time parade and if we're in any lines after dark. Good luck and have a blast doing this!

Tink visited our room in January every night. I got most of this stuff ahead of time at Walmart/Target/Disney Store. Last fall Target had tons of princess stuff in their dollar section.

Tink also left pixie dust along with each visit. ;)

DD 5 received:
Princess autograph book and Princess pen
Tink swimsuit
Tink sunglasses
princess flashlight
Alice pin
Tink "Barbie" doll
Princess necklace
Princess light up thing for light parade
Princess tee
(She got more - it was also her birthday!)

DD 17 months received:
small stuffed Minnie
small stuffed Pooh
Pooh stickers and sticker book
Pooh sippy cup
Little Einsteins book
light up wand for the night parade
Princess swimsuit
Princess tee

I tried to make each gift relevant to that day's activities. So sunglasses first, the swimsuits were for the day we went to the pool, Little Einsteins for the MGM day, etc.

We also had a bunch of character meals and the BBB reserved. I made up little invitations for each special event on my computer ahead of time, and made a big deal about presenting each fun activity.

I found tink kalidascopes (sorry spelling) tatoos, dollar tree..And at the dollar general i found this huge pen with tink,mickey n pooh...I love all these cool things , but i need some cool goodies for my 17ds and 16 ds ....I guess tink will leave them $$$$.....If i come across anything else ill let you no ..I love the dollar tree he he ..Have a great trip ...:cool1:

I've got to get to Dollar Tree for the tattoos. Dd loves them (all year!). And the light spinners from TDS.

I just wanted to post a bit of a warning. One of our friends brought some of the light up necklaces from the dollar store to our 4th of July picnic. One of them broke (quite easily) and it leaked florescent whatever (I don't know exactly what the stuff inside is) on my nieces face and hands. She was literally glowing. She is 9 so she was old enough to know she needed to wash it off immediately. But I worry about my dd putting her fingers in her mouth all the time. I don't know that the ones at WDW are any better quality or maybe they are. Just wanted to pass it along.

We did this on our last trip! ExDH and I took our 8 year old for one "last" trip after we divorced. We tried to make this extra special for her. Tink left gifts every night. We are fortunate enough to have a Disney outlet store close by. we picked up t-shirts for each day. We also picked up coloring books, the little spinny light up things, pens and pencils, crayons, stickers, and Disney Dollars. Each night, Tink left a tshirt and a small gift. She also sprinkled "Pixie Dust" (glitter that was easy to clean up) from the bed to the door. My daughter is still talking about it TODAY! She was telling the other family that is going with us all about it tonight. I guess Tink and I are gonna have to have a talk before our next trip. That trip will have FOUR kids, not just one! Anyway, this definitely added to the magic for all of us, and it's a trip she will never forget.
