Tinkerbell Ideas Needed. HELP!

These are all great ideas. Don't forget you can actually see Tinkerbell fly from the castle at the start of Wishes. DD4's mouth dropped when she saw her actually flying!!

If you want to surprise her with a gift, pick one up and give to the front desk at your resort and they should deliver it to your room the next day. For DD4 bday, we bought several items that we wanted the "princesses" to send to her. The front desk asked who her fave character was too. When we arrived to our room the next day after being in the parks, Cinderella came inwhile we were away and left birthday gifts for DD. She even personally signed a card just for her!

How about a Tinkerbell name tag? You can get it engraved with your child's name at MK, MGM and DD. It's about $7.00 engraved and one of the best souvenirs you can get if you ask me.

I didn't read thru every reply but my dd got the magic of Tink during our May trip without actually meeting her. I bought a lot of 18 trading pins on ebay before our trip and each night Tinkerbell left 1 for each of my kids under their pillows. DS had no clue, but DD loved it!!! She pondered how Tink got into the room, etc. and she was thrilled to "see" Tink the night we watched Wishes.

She only semi bought the idea that Tink is a tiny fairy, but having Tink fly into our room at night and leave pins was enough of a distraction for her.

We give a letter to our children from tink with a small pouch of pixie dust, the letter states they are going to have a magical week and if they feel hot, tired, or unhappy to sprinkle the dust around. They are also reminded to think happy thoughts all day and if they are good Tink will visit their room while they sleep. It has worked for five years so far. Tink leaves Pj's, disney dollars, pens, and other small stuff (on sale). When I see my children reaching for the dust I know we should alter our plans to give them a rest or cool down.

The best thing you can do is what I will be doing for my daughter (4) and son in October....
I have purchased small Disney toys, coloring books, hats, fans, etc. for them and will wrap them to take with us....each morning there will be a small "gift" left from Tinkerbell in our room for each child. You can just tell her that Tink is sorry she can't stop to see her, but that she left her a suprise. If you shop ahead and it is a while before you are going, just pick things up as you see them. You can usually find things that are inexpensive especially when things are clearanced at the Disney Store or if you're a good shopper, at the Dollar Store.
I got this idea from a friend of mine whos mother did this.
I think it is a wonderful idea and will also cut down the amount of times the children say "can I have that".......okay so I am dreaming, but it's a good thought.

Hope it helps
