Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend

I have been planning my daughters 4th birthday weekend at Disneyland for January 18-20....but I just noticed that is the Tinkerbell Half Marathon weekend.

Is Disneyland still open to the public? Any info on this topic would be super helpful! Thanks!

Disneyland will definitely still be open to the public. The Half-Marathon is being run at 5:00 am and has a 3 1/2 hour time limit, so the runners and assorted personnel should be cleared out by 10:00, I would think.

Because many of the runners and their families will be going into the parks that weekend combined with the fact it is MLK Jr weekend, you may find attendance will be higher than most other weekends in January.

We were there this year's Tink weekend and the only bad thing was getting to the park on Sunday via the ART. Very slow (we stayed at Embassy Suites). Other than that it was a great day and evening before, as well as day of when we got to the park!
