What will the Tinkerbell Half Marathon crowds be like on the Thursday and Friday (7th and 8th of May)? We generally like to visit Monday through Friday to beat the weekend crowds. Do the runners visit the park quite a bit on those days?

What will the Tinkerbell Half Marathon crowds be like on the Thursday and Friday (7th and 8th of May)? We generally like to visit Monday through Friday to beat the weekend crowds. Do the runners visit the park quite a bit on those days?

This is the first year that a race is being held in May, so there is no direct comparison. Race weekends are extremely popular. With the expo opening on Thursday, pre-race event that night and the 5K on Friday morning there will be a noticeable uptick in crowds on those days.

It will be very different this year compared to the past. I thought the crowds were decent this year, not holiday-like, but still average wait times for rides. We always went early so we were able to walk on rides like Indiana Jones and POTC. The longest wait I think we had was waiting to see Tinker Bell herself!
