Tinkerbell costume - HELP!

Anybody have any luck with comfortable Tinkerbell costumes. I just ordered one from Amazon and it is super cute, but it was way too small, even though DD fit in their size category. She also said it was very itchy and only had it on for 5 minutes. It was only $25 and came with the dress, shoes, wings, and a wand. However, I'm not going to get the bigger size b/c I know she won't wear it if it is itchy. I was thinking maybe my SIL can take the bigger size one and somehow sew something in there to make it not itchy? I have no idea.

Any suggestions?

My Target had Tinkerbell and the other Fairies costumes on clearance for $9.95 which was 50% off. There are wings that are attached with velcro but no wand or crown, They had flower wreaths for the hair which were $1.98. I got my DD one of the other fairies costumes in purple but she hasn't tried it on yet so I don't know whether she'll think that it is itchy.

Have you checked Walmart? I don't know what size your DD wears but I bought a Tinkerbell outfit from Walmart for DD4 (she wears a 4T-5T) and it was only $10. It came with the wings also. No shoes or wand but I found a crown and wand at Big Lots this weekend for $5.

Thanks! I'll run and checkout both Target and Walmart tomorrow. I didn't see one at my Target last time I was there, but hopefully the one by my work will have it. Thanks again!

The Disney store had some nightgown / pajamas with a skirt that had the tulle on the outside (not itchy!). They were not costumes- but I got one for my daughter as it is Tink and soooooo much more comfy and cool!

If you are talking about the one with the tulle on the bottom- no under skirt. what my dd used to do was just put on one of her dress up skirts under it(or a pair of shorts) and then on halloween she wore it with tights and it didn't bother her.
