Hi! I'm hoping to find an answer to my dilema here.
i have a big Tink Figure (a holiday one) and like many of the Tink figures...
she has a broken wing:headache:

Is there any glue that you have found to be "the one" to glue these wings back on to stay on? It is a clean break(from being packed) but she was sold out and I couldn't stand returning it.

Thanks in Advance.
Kathy

I collect Tinker Bell but I think this would apply to any broken item. The figure is resin correct??

I have had several mishaps with my collectibles, both ceramic and resin. My DH is a wiz at putting things back together. He has never repaied a big fig however. He uses epoxy glue for most items.

He just repaired an Alice in Wonderland lamp. Seems I 'bumped' it and when I tried to "save" it from hitting the floor, I knocked Alice's head off. Sometimes he has to stand there and hold the piece until it sets, like with the head. I think epoxy sets fairly quickly.....I seem to remember him saying he had to hold the head on for 15 minutes. I look at it, I can't even tell where the break was.

I don't know how that would work with the wings on a big fig. Maybe someone else can be of more help!

Good luck. Sad to see Tink without her wings. Hope you can get it fixed.

Thanks Kath!
I'll give it a try. The wings are like a clear plastic with silver specks.
I guess the trick will be to stand there and wait!

That's what my husband does most of the time. The good thing is the epoxy dries pretty clear.

Hope it works. Hate to see that little pixie without her wings.

Good luck!
