TinkerBell at MK fireworks???

Another reason is that Tink has to be weighed with her uniform and "flying aids" (wings or harness) just before she flies. And if she's had a little too much fairy food (or Mickey ice cream bars), her flight is cancelled at the last minute.

I didn't know that

Have you seen what Tinkerbelle does in DisneyLand?? She flys all around the castle ALOT!! must be there for at least a full minute if not more. All with fireworks and Walts voice in the background. I for one would like to remain in the fantasy land that Tink flys out of the castle and leave all those conspiricy theorys to everyone else! :goodvibes

I've seen it only on tape.

It looks ASTOUNDING.

Compared to the brief "straight-line" WDW flight, Tink in DL can REALLY FLY!
I mean she just flies ALL OVER the place, changes direction, circles the castle turrets. I assume the flying technology is based on the "Cablecam" system used to cover football (and other) games with a suspended camera that can be manuevered to be above any spot on the field.

There are times when it is perfectly clear at the time for fireworks but because it has rained earlier in the day, the cable may not have dried out enough so they won't let Tink fly. Wind is another problem they have to deal with.

Thank you for posting those pictures. I've never seen Tink make her flight. Didn't know if it was a "for real" event, although Tink is very real to me! ::yes:: Longed to ask on the forums. Just knew I was going to get, " Yeah, you fell for that one, didn't you?". You definitely added a bit of pixiedust: to my day!

My dd thinks that the green light in her smoke detector in her room is Tink watching to see if she's being good. It works!!!!! :thumbsup2
You are a very clever parent!!!!

The "Noodle Station" is the restaurant that sits in the "right-hand corner" between Main Street and Tomorrowland.
If you decide to try to see Wishes from there, be forewarned that only a very FEW of the seats give an unobstructed view.
Not only do they NOT turn off the lights here (and the sound is not clear), most of the fireworks are hidden from view by the roof of the restaurant and/or the large PYLON that's on the bridge to Tomorrowland.

Again, there ARE a few spots in this restaurant area that DO offer GOOD unobstructed views, but you MUST be in those exact spots and not mind the ceiling lights being on and the lack of good sound.

Sit at the edge of the Noodle place in Tomorrowland. Tink flies right over your head. My 12-year-old daughter's life ambition now is to be Tink.

We sat there too on one of our trips. Right under the wire. It was so neat and Tink waved at the kids. We were all thrilled. That's the best place to see Tink.
