ok guys. here goes day 1:

Day 1: Sept. 24

we got up early to get ready for our trip. our flight was at 10:15 am. we were flying with Song out of JFK. we made it to JFK with no trouble at all. we got to our gate with no problem. we grabbed some breakfast, some magazines and waited at our gate. time went by and we heard announcements but they were for someone to check in at their gate. time continued to pass when i looked at my watch and it read 10 AM! boarding was at 9:45. i told rob it was 10 and we ran to the door. no one was waiting to board. we almost missed our flight!!!! Song never made any announcements about boarding whatsoever. we were very upset but very happy at the same time that we didn't miss our flight.
during the flight, i listened to music while rob watched "Madagascar." we arrived at Orlando with no trouble. we found our shuttle guy, John from Franco Transportation, and off we went to the Swan.
we got to the swan around 1:30 or so. we went to the front desk to check in. as we checked in, i made a mention that it was our anniversary. the guy upgraded us to a room with a balcony on the 5th floor. when we got to our room, the room was beautiful. we got a king sized bed and had a great view. our view was of the dolphin, the walkway to the water taxi, a lake, and the rest of the swan. we unpacked and took a nap afterwords.
we got up around 6 and got ready to go to DTD. we had dinner at the House of Blues. it was a lot of fun. we had this yummy pizza with chicken on it and we had this soup, i can't remember what kind, that was worth having. i had told rob when we were waiting to board our plane that we were going to see La Nouba that night.
after dinner, we went to see La Nouba. our seats were incredible! that theater is surprisingly small. i always thought it was bigger. the show is 90 minutes long and so full of colorful characters, tricks and much much more. the best part were these four little girls with some wire and sticks and this dumbbell looking thing and they were tosing them in the air, doing back flips and so many other tricks with these things. it was incredible. they looked to be at least 5 years old! La Nouba is definitelly worth seeing. it's definitely worth the money.
after the show,we went back to our hotel and called it a night.

Day 2: Sept. 25

the plans for the day was to go to Typhoon Lagoon in the morning and MGM in the afternoon. we went to Typhoon Lagoon around 11:30. we did a lot of water slides, including Humunga Cowabunga, which to be honest is nothing compared to summit plummet. i was very close to getting one of those water wedgies though. my butt did hurt from the slide and i had a little trouble walking. it wore off after a few minutes. we had a nice little lunch in a shady area and went to the lazy river and bobbed around for a while.
we left TL and went back to our hotel to shower. we went over to MGM and went to see the new stunt show. i brought my camcorder to record it but just as it started, the battery died. this show is awesome!!! cars spinning and burning rubber, motorcycles, jet skies, and explosions. it was like being in a movie. this is definitely worth seeing. we walked right on the TOT and the GMR to kill some time before we had dinner at 50's PTC. we ordered the same thing we ordered the last time we had dinner there: rob got the pot roast and i had the fried chicken.
we got our bracelets to do the EMHs in MGM. we saw the 9:30 show of Fantasmic! oh how i love that show. we were right in the middle of the theater. it is a great view.
after the show, we left MGM and went back to our room. we were going to rent "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" but it would've cost us $13!! i told rob no, i'll wait til we go home and see it on the plane for $5. so then, we called it a night.

Day 3: Sept. 26

rob had a police interview down in Margate, which is a 3 1/2 hour drive from WDW. so, he rented a car and went to Margate by himself. i got dressed and went to MK, camcorder in hand. as i entered MK, Cinderellabration was playing. so i watched and took pictures. next, i went on Peter Pan's flight. i went on line to go on Dumbo but as i got closer to go on Dumbo, Cinderellabration was going to start again. so, i left and taped cinderellabration. i went back to dumbo and had fun riding in dumbo. after dumbo, i went to adventureland and rode the magic carpets of aladdin. the lines weren't that long at all for the rides i went on. i was really happy about that. MK wasn't really crowded, which was a surprise to me because it was Monday and i read that Monday's are real busy days for MK.
i left MK and went to MGM to tape the stunt show. it took me an hour to get to MGM. when i got there, the stunt show was going to start in 10 minutes!! ahh!!! i ran as fast as i could to the stunt show and barely made it. i taped the show and enjoyed watching it all over again.
throughout all of this, it was really hot out and i drank A LOT of water. so, that meant lots of bathroom trips. i got to see the Singin' in the Rain umbrella as i left the stunt show. i met JoJo along the way of leaving MGM. i bought a t-shirt and a stunt show tank top from one of those little booths.
as i was leaving MGM, i ran into a photopass photographer. i asked him how it worked and he told me. he then took some pictures of me. he gave me his hat and asked me if i knew stitch. of course i know who stitch is. he told me to look surprised at the hat because stitch was going to pop out of it. so, i did and was already dying to see the photos. but, rob was about 80 miles from WDW and i wanted to get back to the hotel to shower. boy, i sweated up a storm that day.
i got back to the room and took a nice cold shower. rob came to the room and changed out of his suit. the interview went well. he told me he passed. we decided to go to MK so i could tape wishes. i didn't tell him we were doing a wishes cruise because i wanted it to be a surprise. i wanted to tape wishes so i wouldn't bring the camcorder on the cruise with us.
we got to MK and the sky was very dark. it looked like it was going to poor. lighting was flashing constantly. i was so upset that it was going to storm before wishes was going to start. rob told me that they couldn't set off fireworks because of the lighting. people did leave but there were people that stayed. CMs were out selling those light up toys and moving people around so some can leave the park. an announcement was made that in 15 minutes, hallowishes was going to play. i told rob they were going to play hallowishes at MNSSHP on friday so we would see the fireworks then.
so, we left MK and went to the Poly to have dinner at Ohana's. the food there was excellent. oh my god was it good and so much of it too. it was our first visit to Ohana's and we enjoyed it very much.
we left the poly and headed back to our hotel to call it a night.

Day 4: Sept. 27

we got up real early to go to MK for the KTTKT. we were just 5 minutes from the tour to start when we finally got to MK. we got our name badges and ordered lunch. our tour guide was a woman named Rae and she was the perfect tour guide. this tour is definitely worth going. all the useless trivia you learn and things you see are just amazing. a lot of the stuff was very familiar to me: the story of disney and how his career began, etc. during the tour, we went on the Jungle Cruise. the tour starts off with a view of main street and an overall explanation on customer service. then we ent on the jungle cruise. after the cruise, we went behind the scenes in Adventureland and learned some things that Rae couldn't say in public. we learned about the rides in frontierland, how the garbage is handled, where the floats are stored, how the CM's are in the costumes, and much much more! Rae used to be the Fairy Godmother in the Cinderella Surprise Celebration show. when she showed us a picture, i yelled, "I knew it. I knew she was the fairy godmother." she just looked so familiar the first time i saw her.
after the behind the scenes part, we went into liberty square and learned some more things about how the square was built. we had lunch at the Columbian Harbor House. after lunch, we went on the Haunted Mansion through a VIP room. ooohhh! then, dadadada, we went to the tunnel underground. ooooohhhh!!! more useless trivia that i already knew. there was a woman on the tour with us that writes disney guide books. i didn't catch her name though. when Rae asked us useless trivia questions, i answered some of them before she did! it was a real surprise to me that i was able to answer questions like, if snow white is the first movie and fantasia is the third, what's the second movie? (ans. pinocchio)
we left the tunnel and went to another behind the scenes section. oohhhh. we learned about tinkerbell. i already knew that stuff about tinkerbell. we left the behind the scenes and headed back to city hall to hand in our ear pieces and end the tour.
after the tour, we watched cinderellabration. we went on it's a small world and saw mickey's philharmagic. we had icecream at mrs. pott's cubboard. we left MK and went to WL to have dinner at the WCC. while we were waiting for the pager to go off, we went in the gift shop. there, i found a beautiful tinkerbell watch. rob got it for me as an anniversary present. our pager went off and off to dinner we went. our waiter was a disgruntled cowboy named sergio. during dinner, he saw that i had a pin that read magical wishes and had a picture of bridal mickey and minnie. he laughed in my ear. during dinner, a CM called up all the grandpa's, fathers, and uncles to do the buttercup dance in front of the whole restaurant. oh it was so funny. the CM asked the guys to give him a grunt and they all yelled who-ha! you had to be there to appreciate. then the CM had the guys yell, "Who's your daddy? Who's the man? Git-r-done" oh i was dying at that point when they did that. and then the dancing. oh it was priceless.
during dinner, rob asked for another soda. our waiter came back with this HUGE jar of soda. it was more than a liter to give you a better idea of how big this thing was.
after dinner, we left the WL and headed back to our hotel to call it a night.

Day 5: Sept. 28

we slept in for a bit on this day. we went over to AK to go on Dinosaur. the last time we tried to go on Dinosaur it broke down. we had our pictures taken by a photopass photographer in front of the tree of life. we had lunch at the flame tree barbeque. during lunch, i heard kids screaming mickey's name. i walked over to where the kids were and there was a boat with mickey, minnie, and goofy riding along the lake there.
after lunch, we went on Dinosaur. never again will i go on that ride. it scared the daylights out of me. i had my head practically in my lap throughout most of the ride. when the carnosaurus came out, i screamed so loud i thought i lost my voice! when we got off the ride, we saw our picture. there was me, head in my lap. rob laughed at me and i told him it was a scary ride. i don't like it. he teased me about going on it's tough to be a bug and i said that's just as bad. no, it's tough to be a bug. i sounded like a kid. i was whining about not going to see that show.
we left AK and went to our hotel. laundry had to be done. so, i spent some time in the dolphin doing some laundry.
later on, we went over to Epcot. we got to go on Soarin'. oh it was so much fun. we loved it. we then went on the test track afterwords. then, we went to our spot to see illuminations.
after illuminations, we left Epcot and went to DTD to get dinner. we did some quick shopping first in the market place and headed over to planet hollywood for dinner.
oh did i mention that at this time i had a head cold. after the KTTKT, my throat was very dry. i drank and drank my water and it didn't help. we got ice cream and it didn't help. by this time, while i was doing laundry, my throat was very dry and my nose was stuffy. i bought some sudafed to breathe. i went to the bathroom while doing laundry and just cried. "i can't be sick on my anniversary!" i was suffering through dinner. i wasn't hungry and i couldn't breathe.
we left PH and went back to our hotel. by then, i was able to breathe because the sudafed FINALLY kicked in. i passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Day 6: Sept. 29 (anniversary)

i felt a little better when i woke up. my throat was still a little dry but had a nasty feel to it. i needed something to drink. so, i drank a powerade that i had with me.
we had breakfast over at Spoodles. the pancakes are really good. yummy! after breakfast, we headed over to the GF for our romantic evening massages. we were in the same room having an aromatherapy massage done. it is so relaxing and felt so good. but during the massage, when i was on my back towards the end, my nose got so stuffy that i had to breathe through my mouth! i was able to breathe once i got back to the ladies lounge but still had little difficulty. we went back to our hotel to shower and take a nap. but we couldn't nap because of all the water we drank. we had to go to the bathroom constantly. every 5 mintues! so, we just laid down and relaxed.
rob had no idea that we were going on a wishes cruise that night. i told him we had to leave sometime around 6 and go towards the MK. once we got to the MK, we took the ferry to the Poly. rob was curious as to why we were going to the Poly. earlier in the day, i found out that wishes was going off at 9 pm. when i booked the cruise in July, the show was supposed to be at 8. so to play it safe, i wanted to be at the Marina at the time we were supposed to when i booked the cruise. we got to the marina with time to spare. i told rob that we were going on a wishes cruise for our anniversary and it was a surprise for him. i tried to get an illuminations cruise but it was booked solid. we grabbed some munchies in the Poly to wait for 8 pm when our driver would arrive at the marina.
we waited at the marina for our driver at 10 to 8. then, lightning flashed. i started to get worried. lightning continued to flash. we met our driver and he walked away with a clip board. he came back and told us that the cruise was cancelled because of the lightning. luckily, we weren't going to be charged for the cruise. i was very upset but didn't let that ruin our evening. so, we headed over to the CG to have dinner early. we watched wishes from the restaurant. we had a wonderful dinner. i was able to breathe just fine this time. i was getting better as the day went on.
after dinner, we headed back to the swan and called it a night.

Day 7: Sept. 30

today was going to be another lazy day. we slept in. we had lunch at Beaches and Cream. i made an appointment at the Mandara Spa at the dolphin to get my hair done like tinkerbell for MNSSHP. we played games at the BC arcade. then we headed to the dolphin and played games there to kill some time before my 4 pm appointment. at 3:30, i went to the spa to get my hair done early. rob went back to the room to take a nap. it took about an hour to get my hair done. this spa is very beautiful i must add.
after i got my hair done, i went to the room and got dressed in my tinkerbell costume for MNSSHP. rob got dressed, not in costume though, and off to MK we went. there was a woman on our bus dressed as snow white. i told rob i'm not the only adult dressed up for this.
getting to the gate to get in MK was somewhat rewarding. being dressed as tinkerbell brought some attention to me. but i drew more attention to the kids dressed up. there was a girl as cinderella and a boy as prince charming holding hands. oh it was so adorable! i waved my wand over some kids and sprinkled "pixie dust" on them.
we finally made it to LTT where we had dinner. after dinner, we had a wonderful spot to see the boo-to-you parade. we saw the headless horseman. during the parade, my camcorder battery died. i was very upset. but we enjoyed watching the parade nonetheless. after the parade, we rode big thunder mountain. i met bre'r bear outside of splash mountain. we then found a spot for the hallowishes fireworks. those fireworks are awesome! after the fireworks, we headed over to tomorrowland where we rode space mountain and stitch's great escape. we then went to fantasyland and rode the carousel. it was 11 and we decided to head back to the hotel. we took our pictures in front of the castle using the photopass.
we left MK and headed to our hotel to call it a night.

Day 8: Oct. 1 (going home )

we got up at a decent time and got ready to check out of our room. after checking out and putting our luggage in storage, we headed over to the big river grille to have lunch. during lunch, it poured and poured and poured. it continued to pour after lunch. when the rain finally stopped, we headed over to BB to play a round of minature golf at Winter Summerland. we played two rounds. i won the first round, i might also add that i got 3 hole in ones, and rob won the second round.
after minature golf, we headed over to the BC to have ice cream at beaches and cream. we headed back to our hotel to put on some jeans because it was supposed to be in the low 50's when we would get back home. our shuttle guy, john picked us up and took us to the airport.
this time, we got on our plane with no problem. announcements were made this time. during the flight, rob and i watched "Mr. and Mrs. Smith". it is a pretty good movie. we landed fine at JFK and got home safe and sound.

so, that's the end of my TR. i hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as i enjoyed living it. i am very happy and pleased with this trip because it was the first time i planned an itinerary and everything, well almost everything, fell into place. so, this is the end of my trip report.

I love your report! How did your Stitch jumping out of the hat picture turn out? When we looked at the photo pass site when we got home, all we had was an empty hat. All the others turned out just fine except stitch. Happy Anniversary! :)

Thanks for the report. I really enjoyed it. Sounds like you had a wonderful, romantic vacation.

We were there the same days as you! We went to DTD and WCC on Sunday, MK and Ohana's on Monday, Epcot-Princess Breakfast and GF 1900 Park Fare on Tuesday, AK and Chef Mickey on Wedsday and MGM on Thursday then left for a few days on the beach. We thought several times during our stay that it was going to rain but we got soooooo lucky!!! Hope you had a wonderful time - I know we did.

i'm glad you guys are enjoying my TR. that's so cool arielt that we were in WDW at the same time. how neat is that?
