Disneyland Eliminates Early Entry for Resort Hotel Guests Beginning January 5, 2026

I just saw this. Thought it was a joke a first. And ONE LL per stay? that is a sucky replacement. Should at least me one per day.

Go to Hawaii!!! You will love it!
I went to Oahu as a teenager with my parents but didn't appreciate it, so I definitely want a new experience as an adult!
If you get the chance to go to Aulani I would do it. It's Hawaii meets Disney in the best way. I agree that cash prices are very very high, renting points from a DVC member here on the boards https://www.disboards.com/forums/dvc-rent-transfer.29/ or through a rental broker is a great way to go much cheaper. I will be there this weekend and I am so so excited to go again and see Mickey in his Hawaii fit.
It is super tempting and that's a great idea to rent points. The resort looks very nice and of course Mickey always adds to the magic of any situation! In addition to price, I was also hesitant to be away from the main Waikiki area, but maybe that's a good thing. I wanted to be at one of the "real" oceanfront properties, probably Outrigger Reef. But I'm going to look into Aulani more...that's definitely oceanfront too!

Good thing I already booked for next year!

It will be interesting to see what the new Harbor access will be when the eastern gateway is over. It looks like it will still be pretty similar from the renderings, but I'm curious where security will be with much of it being moved to the new garage.
Where do you usually stay and how is it? Just curious.
