I heard a rumor awhile back on a podcast that there was going to be a Tinker Bell character greeting coming soon. (Where you would go under some pixie dust to shrink you down to her size!) I haven't heard anything else about this for months. Has anyone heard anything recently? My youngest is obsessed with the Disney Fairies stuff right now. I'm a little sad this hasn't come to be yet!

i had heard that it was going to be where the old highway in the sky loading area was but who knows

A CM stated on here a few weeks ago that Tink might be appearing in the P&P parties during the Parade but thats it so far.

DD is waiting as well. She just picked up a nice DFairies poster for her TINK ROOM (see Sig) so we have to find a frame for it.

My 6yo DD heard me mention this posibility to my wife and she is now asking me daily when she will get to meet Tink. :tink:

I hope this happens.

Never heard that one before, but what a fantastic idea! To make it appear like you were shrunken down to tink's size. This looks like a job for IMAGINEERMAN!. Seriously, maybe they are working on it, trying figure out how to accomplish the illusion. Unless management thought they were spending too much money, and cut them back like they have done in a number of other areas over the Ei$ner years. Which of course would mean that perhaps Iger is following in Ei$ners footsteps. :confused3

Iger is not following in Eisner's footsteps. He's been the total opposite of Eisner ever since he took over the CEO position.

And Iger's been doing a great job in getting Disney back on track and undoing the damage that Eisner left in his wake.

I'm going to have to wait a bit longer before I can make an actual decision on the guy. Some good, some bad, so far.............

We were talking to a member of the Dream Squad last week while waiting for the parade to start. My one niece's favorite character is Tink and she was disappointed that she couldn't meet her. I mentioned something to the cast member about Disney possibly putting Tink in the parks since they were making the Fairies movie. He said it is being talked about but nothing has been finalized. He did say it would be something like the OP described. Tink would probably be on some type of pedestal since she cannot walk.

My 6yo DD just loves Tink and all the Disney Fairies she's met through the book series. She is looking forward to the movie and would so love to meet Tink!! I've heard rumors too, I hope something happens soon while she is still so into Tink.
