OOOooo Traditions while fun was the longest day of my life! hahahahaha!!!

The thing I remember most is that long long LONG video of the attorney talking some legal stuff and all he did was sway back and forth the whole time. I can't remember what he was even talking about, I just remember him slightly swaying through the whole thing.

The girl teaching our Traditions class warned us how boring it would be and when it was over told us we got the shortened version. . . there's a much longer one that people in certain roles have to watch.

Hmm, I wonder if they still use that video?

Have fun, learn as much as you can and try not to be to bored with the video. Hopefully, when you get used to area and make friends you won't be as homesick.

I can't wait to here more! I did the CP Spring 06. It was a great time! the homesickness goes away quick. Once you start working and going to the parks, you don't think about it. Have a great time!

I didn't see that video. Traditions was pretty boring though!

I went to Traditions yesterday and watched tons of videos! Then I met up with a fellow Diser, Lyzziesmom and her family at Epcot.

Today I had training at Port Orleans. I got there and started watching videos on selling tobacco and alcohol, serving guests with disabilities and learning about hazardous chemicals. I took some tests and then went and got my costume!!!! It isn't very bad at all actually, it's kind of cute! I will post a pic! Then my trainer took me to POR and I met some of the people I will be working with and toured the shop.

I am so excited. I just found your report today. I am really enjoying it. We usually go to Port Orleans for our trip so this is really exciting.

I hope things are going well for you and I hope you can get pass the homesick feeling. Just try to focus on the job and having fun. Like others have said this will pass quickly and you will remember it as the best time ever.

I just joined in! In Nov we stayed at POR and I loved the gift shop there! I think working in the hotel will make it more special to go to the parks because you didn't spend the whole day there!
