TINK/Pixie Hollow Updates Needed

Any further report/confirmation on the supposed "soft opening" on
October 24th ? We are leaving that day and would plan to be at Toontown rope drop if so.....But I don't want to waste time on our last day standing in line if "she" won't be appearing for certain.

Soft openings are uncertain by nature. Pixie Hollow is on schedule to soft open on October 24th, but a soft opening doesn't necessarily mean "first thing in the morning." It could open for a couple of hours in the afternoon; it could open first thing; it could be open all day; it could not open at all. There is no way to be "certain", I'm afraid.

I asked the CM's at the Hall of Fame on Friday and they said the 24th.

Anybody know if the fairies are only going to be there at certain times of the day?? We are going the 26th for MNSSHP and DD is going as Beck. Obviously she wants a pic with the fairies in her Beck costume. I think we can get in the park as early as 4pm with our MNSSHP tickets, here's hoping the fairies will be around after 4pm.

Once the Hollow is open, the Fairies should be there all day, every day. You may get a different assortment of Fairies when you go, but there will be Fairies to meet whenever it's open.

Thanks for the info!! We have been wondering if it was going to be a character meet, or like the tent, always someone there, just not sure who.

I just wanted to let you know,in case you don't know,Toon Town has been opening UNANNOUNCED at 9:45 instead of 10:00 recently.

It is in the Character Hall of Fame with the Princesses.

Wait until you see it. It is "a little more exciting!" They've done a beautiful job creating Pixie Hollow and an atmosphere in which the fairies live. They did not build on another room -- they redid an area that was already in the building.

How did you get to see Pixie Hollow?Are they having Soft Openings or do you have "connections"?Thanks.

What are the chances that Tink will always be there for a meet and greet, since she's the most popular? No offense to the other fairies, but if my daughter goes, Tink is the main course and the others are side dishes.

The room with Mickey's pals was replaced - the princesses will still be there, though. From what I've heard Donald has been relocated to around Frontierland and Goofy is now at the Splash Mountain exit.
