What time does this new area open? Does it open with the regular park hours?

Hours this week were park opening time until 5pm. We got there about 20 minutes after the park opened and the wait was about 20 minutes from that point. It gets packed in the middle of the day. We made a point to make Tink one of our first stops. Pixie Hollow is nice, though, so the time moves quickly.

Where is Pixie Hollow?? I need to make sure to get DD over there on one of these trips, if not both, lol.

If you are familiar with it, it's in the old Ariel meet and greet area.

Keep in mind that the hours vary daily - make sure you check with the folks at the entrance. Also, if Tinker Bell has to do the parade, she will not be there - only the other Fairies. Those girls are definitely worth the visit, even if Tink isn't around. Our daughters have been completely charmed by visiting with Rosetta, Iridessa, and Silvermist! (Fawn hasn't been there the times we've gone.)

i highly suggest doing this as early as possible. This line turned out to be our longest wait for my family. I have all boys who were bored stiff for an hour plus 2nd week of december( the rest of the park was no wait or 10-15) in that line and I was the only one wanted to see them lol

Oh, they have the other fairies, too?? My dd will be thrilled, she was asking if it was only Tinker Bell or not. Thank you, thank you for the info!

Yes, they have the other fairies.

When we visited in November Iridessa was paired up with Rosetta and Silvermist was out with Fawn.

Thanks! I am hoping that it actually opens at Park opening if I go right there! I hate the thought of running there first to find it not open until 11am or something. Thanks for all the info!!

I guess it might depend on the day, but we were there yesterday, at the gates right at opening. We pretty much went straight to Pixie Hollow (or we'd be hearing about it all day from oldest dd!). Watch out for the shooting water - if you see the ground is wet, steer clear. The water shoots over the que area, but every 5th or 6th shot it was short and hitting the sidewalk! The poor birthday girl ahead of us in line was posed for a picture and it landed right on her head. It WAS kind of windy yesterday, so it could have been a wind gust :). Luckily she laughed, so we could all laugh with her!

Oh, we saw Iridessa and Tinkerbell BTW. Iridessa was hysterical - my oldest told her she saw her in the Tinkerbell movie, and Iridessa was going on and on about "what is a movie" - the kids thought it was so funny. Later in the day, dd tells me, "I should have told Iridessa a movie is a Mainland thing!"

Is there not always three there? I know during the parade Tink is not there. When we were in DW we went three time and EVERY time we saw Tink, Iridessa, & Rosetta. I was hoping to at least sometime see the other two!

Oh, Iridessa was delightful in Nov. I can't remember what she said, but the girls were giggling. My odd's fav is Silvermist, so at first she was disappointed. But when all was said and done she said she really liked it. It was an hour wait for us...we queued up at 8:30 and finally saw the fairies at about 9:25. The rest of the day it was at least 1.5-2hr wait.

My daughter will be so excited to meet the fairies I can hardly wait to see her face!

How is the interaction with the fairies? Is it basically a little 5 minute chatter with them and then a photo op with ALL of them in the end, or do you meet all the fairies in small groups as you go through the line?

We did PH in Dec. and I was pretty disappointed. :confused3 I guess it's just me. We waited about 45 mins. (not too bad) and when we finally got in Silvermist was there and Fawn was just coming on. Fawn was replacing Silvermist and I had to ask for them both to pose for a picture and and then "poof" Silvermist was gone. She was maybe there 1 min. and really didn't interact at all. DD got Fawn's autograph but again I had to ask for it. Seems like they were rushing us through. We stepped aside to where Tink is only to be told she was on break and we waited about 5 mins. Again, as you can imagine, we were rushed through. We had 5 kids in our group and I just uploaded my PP pix and noticed that the PP didn't even get any of the whole group. Luckily I did.

I guess I was expecting more than 2 (1/2) fairies. All told I think we got about 4 mins. with all of them. Tink didn't even talk to any of the kids. Just a quick pix or two and autograph. To me, not really worth the wait. Also I was disappointed that the PP we've come to know was also on break and the one taking the pix just did okay. We may try it again when the wait is less-only if my favorite PP photog is there though.

But if your kid really loves the fairies, then do it. Just do it when the line is short.

I think Princess Fantasy Faire is much better. More princesses and more time.
