I think the location reported may be wrong. I have actually heard that the location will be where the "skyway" used to load and unload by Peter Pan's Flight, but the concept is the same.

I hope that the powers to be actually do this. I would love to meet Tinker Bell and maybe Peter Pan would show up with Wendy and the whole gang WOW how exciting.

Does anyone know when they are planning this??? Hopefully before we get there in Sept.

this is at disney world.. recently rumors have been reporting as early as august, but i wouldn't hold my breath. no doubt it's tied into the release of the movie which was originally supposed to be in august but has been pushed back until holiday 2008.

I guess I will be the lone-ranger on this, but I find this disappointing. Tinkerbell is supposed to be tiny and hard to see.

That's true but so is Jimminey Cricket and now you can see him at AK...

Well, obviously, I adore Tink! However, I am worried because I have seen first-hand when a characters representation "misses the mark" for example when Piglet first made it to the parks in the 90's eek! I also have to say I have only seen Jiminy once and "he" was too tall and too thin! He is supposed to be a cutel lil bug with a chubby belly! I have not yet seen him at the AK, perhaps they have tweaked it, and hopefully, Tink will be great.

Wasn't this rumor also floating around last year with it being the Skyway building as the ShrinkDown area for the M&G. I guess DD will have to wait until next June or JUly to see.

the previous rormor said the Tink greet would be in Fantasyland where the skybucket enterance is.
I think it would fit in better there. Across from Peter Pan and a place that can handle a long line. I'm not sure I'd wait very long to meet her though. I would because BF would probally want to meet her.

I used to work with a girl who always said she was going to be Tinkerbell at WDW. I would say "there is no actual face character Tinkerbell at WDW" and she would smile and say "there might be". She did look remarkably like tink.....I wonder.

Tink's one of Disney's most popular characters, so I think that she would make a nice addition to the character line-up. I kind of doubt that she's starting this year, but I wouldn't being wrong. It would be nice to see another new character start appearing at MK.
