Aisling’s costume is perfect! I have a similar photo of Space Mountain while it was under construction. I also did not find the Star Wars toothbrushes. I thought it was because our party started in the rain and maybe they moved them indoors somewhere. Your interactions and photos with Snow White are amazing! Only the dwarves were out when we were there and that was when we lost Tyler. He was later found and since he was the last child in line he got to high five each dwarf on their way off. Cinderella’s carriage photos are fantastic. The line was too long so we skipped those. Aisling looks so happy in all of the pictures!

She was so happy!!! Snow White is her favorite so that totally made her night. Even at 6 she thought the long line (we waited almost an hour) was well worth it. We lucked out with Cindy's carriage. Most people were either in line for SW (it extended well into ToonTown when she actually came out ) or were going to the first parade. So there were only about 5-6 families in front of us in line for that.

Didn't Stacy (sohappy) do an amazing job on the costume? I didn't get a really great pic of the back but you can kinda see it in the hopscotch pic that the back is Jack/Sally on the curly moutain. I think it might be my favorite thing she's made Aisling to date.

And I love how puppy is decked out for the party as well. When I was little I had a puppy named puppy and he took many a trip to Disney!

I am always glad to see pics of the customs modeled since my little model isn't growing at the same rate as Ash (and well, being a boy, he is starting to put up a fight when I ask him to try on dresses for size). Wish I had made the straps shorter, but I was afraid they would be too short.

Looks like you guys had so much fun at MNSSHP. We got our toothbrushes at Caseys when they had the dance party indoors. Can you believe that they had snow white and dopey in one line and then the other dwarves in another at our party? We had planned on doing it, but skipped it since we couldn't do it all together.

Can't wait to see villain pics.

Most authentic costumes we saw all night. Frankly I'm surprised that Disney allowed them in they were so good.

They kind of bend this rule at MNSSHP. I had a pretty authentic looking Snow White costume at my first MNSSHP and the CM's just asked me to tell everyone I wasn't the real Snow White and to not sign autographs. I'm assuming that's what these guests were asked to do.

I love Aisling's Sally dress! She looked so cute!

Or yes. The scariest ride at WDW.

bet your thought I meant HM didn't ya??? Well if you've read Kingdom Keepers, I'm sure you understand my rationale

After a spin around the Small World, we decided to head to that OTHER scary ride. For us it's a must do during the party because of all the extra character interaction. I just love it!

We stopped for some PP pics

When we got done with HM, we had a little time to kill before Hallowishes so we did some trick or treating and picked up a couple of hitch hiking ghosts

It was about time for the fireworks to start so we headed out to grab a spot. We had a pretty good spot last year so we headed right back there. The only problem is that the fireworks are shot off from Fantasyland/Liberty Square for these fireworks so they aren't necessarily centered.

Aisling and I grabbed our spots on the bridge and Randy ran off to get drinks. We still hadn't had dinner so I ended up digging into the candy

I'm not quite sure what Randy was doing but he came back without drinks just in time for the fireworks to start

Another excellent firework display! But we weren't done!!!!!

It's time to go stake out spots for Boo to You. We had such a perfect location last year but being the weekend before Halloween....the parks were much more packed this time around. So we knew that wasn't happening. We headed into Frontierland and they were putting out the ropes. The buildings on the lefthand side have little steps. Perfect place to hitch your horse if you know what I mean

Aisling was not thrilled with the idea of waiting around for a parade so her and Randy went off to ride POTC while I held the spots. Before they left, Randy got some popcorn. I was soooo hungry at this point that I practically inhaled the popcorn. It was supposed to be for all of us to share during the parade but by the time they got back, it was like 75% gone

When they got back, there was still a little time so Aisling did some hula hooping

And then the good music started

This pic is kinda funny. Because i was using a wide-angle lens, I had not way of knowing that his guy was this close to me. Pic came out really bad but it scared the you-know-what out of me!!!

Parade done for another year...it was time to go visit my favorite characters!

When October's moon shines bright, the bewitching time is right....Halloween's our favorite fright night!!!


There was only one more Villain Mix and Mingle for the night so we were heading there! We grabbed seats right in front of the castle. There was a group of late teen/early 20s kiddos next to us. I wish I had gotten pics of them. They went as the villains. But they were kinda modern takes on the villains. These kids had put so much effort into all their costumes. They almost looked like they could go down the runway in these things. The costumes were all subtle and you had think for a second to figure out who they were. So amazing. But since they were immediately next to me, I didn't want to look like a freak snapping their pics.

For the Mingle party of the Mix and Mingle, we gave Aisling the choice of who she wanted to see! I think she choose well

But should be big farewell to the castle for another evening or keep going. I mean technically, we have another half hour

NAAAAHHHH the Smiths were going to close this park out two nights in a row. What a better time to hit up all the rides in Fantasyland with NO lines!!!! We ran from one to the next until we hit them all in a span of a 1/2 hour! We were the last people they let on Winnie the Pooh. We had done it, we had closed down the park!!! And Aisling was still in great spirits!

They had started ropping things off when we got done with Winnie the Pooh so we had to take a left behind the castle. Where we discovered something I had seen in lots of TRs but had never seen in person.

And just like the night before, we put the princess in her carriage and let her off to dreamland

The two major reasons for this trip were over but this isn't the End of Road for the Smiths

You TOTALLY have to do MNSSHP. It's expensive but well worth it. It's such a fun night! The problem is that there is WAAAAY more going on than you'll ever get to.

I'm convinced that the toothbrushes were a hoax

Did you guys get good candy in Sept? Last Sept we got all kinds of yummy candy and this year we got not-so-good candy. Aisling doesn't eat candy so it goes to my office-mates and they were highly disappointed after last year

Nope it was popcorn and diet coke for from 4-Midnight for Kristine. Which isn't that much of a stretch in the real world either! Randy doesn't cook...I'm having microwave popcorn for dinner

Aisling did inherit my Disney loving gene. However, she is driving me NUTS right now. All she talks about is our next trip and the "plans" she is "making" with M and Stacy's boys. Yet she has never talked to any of them on the phone, met M only once, and has never met Stacy's sons!
