Tink & Fairies Meet and Greet

I keep seeing posts about Rapunzel & how long she's going to take (even at rope drop). What makes her wait so long? Is there more interaction with her than at the average character? I know she's new, but I never heard Tiana's wait being this way even at the beginning.

Flynn being with Rapunzel and the meet and greet being a play meet and great and not just a line thru to get pic, autograph, move on was what slowed it down. Now that the CM's play w/ the kids (and not Rapunzel herself) and WDW banished Flynn to a kingdom far far away the line is much more reasonable and can be done in 20-30 minutes most days not the 2+ hours it was taking unless you ran there at RD.

Princess and the Frog wasn't nearly as popular a movie as Tangled was so the demand for Tiana wasn't as high.

From what some sources have said, the new Tinker Bell's Nook will have 3 fairies greeting guests at a time, similar to the Toontown set-up.

Hopefully, all 7 fairies will resume regular rotations.

Does anyone know where Ariel has moved to? Correct me if i am wrong but that was her old spot....

They moved to the Adventureland Gazebo. When you're facing the dole whip stand it's to the left.

I heard today thats Tink's new spot inside opened. Ariel and Eric are back in their original spot.

Does anyone know the times of the Faeries, do they start M&G's at 9:15 and every :15 thereafter? Do they have a schedule like Rapunzal?

Eric is with Ariel now? Hope it's like that next year. DD will be ecstatic. She's always loved the boys and was thrilled to see them at the Christmas party a couple of years ago.

I recommend saving this site.. www.wdwent.com. He updates the site every Sunday for the week with showtimes, character times etc.

Yep. It's been this way for awhile now.

The current week's times guide lists the times for the Fairies as "Intermittently 9:15-one hour prior to park closing".

Hoping to hear how long the wait is now for Tinkerbell? When we were there in September, we waited for over an hour! :sad2:

We were in Epcot last Saturday and the mid afternoon (about 2:30/3:00) wait for Tink only was surprisingly only about 15 minutes. We were shocked but happy.

Went back today and Tinker Bell's Nook is definitely open. There is a (relatively small) sign out front with the wait time. It said 40 minutes when I went in, but I was out in like 15-20 minutes. When you first enter the building, there is a good sized queue area leading up to the entrance to the meet and greet area, which cannot be seen from the queue area. You pass thru a portal (for lack of a better word) which a CM told us shrank us down to fairy size thanks to pixie dust. You enter and turn a corner to meet the fairies. It is a pretty faithful re-creation of Pixie Hollow from Toontown. I really have to give them credit for the work they did. The whole set up looks SO much better than when the Princesses were there temporarily. They actually built walls and decorated them and the video which used to play in the old queue area plays while you wait.

The meet and greet area is smaller, however. It really seems set up for two fairies to greet at a time. Rosetta and Tink were there today. I was hoping for three spots, but I think it would be a bit crowded with more than two. Hopefully all the fairies will be worked into the rotation, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's just the ones who were at Epcot during F & G (Tink, Rosetta, Vidia and Terrence).

I took some pictures, but don't know how to post them here. Sorry!
