Timing question

Just want some thoughts on if you think the timings here are OK. This is for Thanksgiving week, so a crowd is expected.

5:05 pm - Savi's Workshop
7:30 pm - California Grill ADR

I've done Savi's once before (but at DL, not WDW) and it was running a bit behind late in the day. That said, it seems like if we're out looking for the bus by 6:30, we should be at the Contemporary before 7:30 no problem, and I can't imagine Savi's being more than 15 minutes behind. It's not when the park closes, so I don't imagine even with a crowd the bus will be nuts. I've generally only gone to the Contemporary for dinner via Monorail, so this is some timings I haven't had to deal with before.

I would work backwards, possibly worst-case scenarios. From the bus stop at CR, it'll take you 5 minutes to get to CG check-in. The bus from HS to CR will take approximately 15 minutes. The walk from Savi's to the CR bus stop is probably 10 minutes. So that's 30 minutes. If you're unlucky and need to wait 20-30 minutes for a bus, you'd need to be walking from Savi's no later than 6:30. It seems you already have done the clock arithmetic! Seems tight, but very doable...... And even if you're a couple minutes late at CG, it shouldn't be a big issue. Have fun!

Having not been on property this year, how readily available are uber/lyft at this point? That would be an easy fallback option.

It's about 20 minutes. They'd need to be running multiple sessions behind to push it to end a full hour after it's scheduled.

I think Savi's was about 20 minutes to a half hour, and you don't want to duck out early before you get your saber activated.

If the bus wait is concerning, grab Uber/Lyft to the Contemporary.
