Timing question re: Rope drop RnR to 9:40 Disney Jr. show

First week in July, if we are at Rope Drop at least 30 minutes early, can we ride RnR at rope drop then make it to the 9:40 Disney Jr. show?
1/2 of our party wants to do RnR then go on to Disney Jr. the other 1/2 will go on to ToT.

I got a FP for the 9:40 Disney Jr. show for them (other 1/2 got FP to ToT at the same time), just making sure they'll be able to make it to the show in time, even w/the Fastpasses.

I don't think it will be a problem. I've done it. Since rope drop is going to be a little before 9, if you run straight there, you should be out of RnR by 9:20 and head straight to Disney Jr. Disney Jr. FP also shouldn't go too quickly so if something happens and you don't make it, you could switch your FP to a later time.

Problem for us was the characters came out at 9:30 so we waiting in line to see Jake and Sofia then saw the next show at 10:30
