I think we have decided to take the plunge and stay onsite for our trip in January. I would like to purchase an AP for either my husband or myself in order to get the discounted hotel rate.

My question is, do I need to purchase the AP first in order to book the hotel at the APH rate, or can I book the hotel now and purchase the AP closer to our travel date and just show it upon check-in?

Thanks in advance!

you can book now with the aph rate for the hotel.

you can order the ap online or buy it when you arrive at the parks.

you can show the ap after you have checked into the hotel, but do it before you check out.

if you fail to get the ap, your hotel rate will revert to the rack rate, if you previously booked with the ap rate.

you can book anytime with a promo rate if it is out.

you can call and then modify your room rate with the ap rate by calling.

many peeps book with the aph rate without having the ap at that time.
but, they either order it on line and activate after they check into the hotel, or buy the ap at that point.

have fun at the darkside!
you'll love staying on site.
you get totally immersed in the uo feeling.

I stayed in Oct on a APH rate and they never asked for it! I did purchase a AP while I was there but I was never asked to show proof. I had more problems proving I was now a FL resident (I was just moving into the area) They finally sold it to me with a note attached to my pass in the system that the next time I use the pass I will need to show a FL ID of some sort which was fine with me.

Sorry I'm clueless but what is AP and how do I get it? Would it help getting a better rate next week?

i'm sure that can happen sometimes.

i stayed 10 nights at rph in october, it was my 12th stay there.
was checked in by the same person who checked me in the past 4 times.

i had to show my ap to keep my rate.
