Ok, I typically prefer to answer stuff than ask, but I figured that I get to ask once in awhile ;).

The Situation
Heading down to the world on a solo trip from 23 Sept - 1 Oct (well, mom will be around from 23-27, but the rest of the week I'm solo). I recently swapped my Monday (27 Sept) and Tuesday (28 Sept) to allow me to do DHS when she was there. As such, my 2nd (out of 2 1/2-3) MK day is now on an MNSSHP day. I swapped the ADRs out already, so that's all set.

The Issue
My Citrico's ADR is now for 5:45pm on Tuesday and I'm now debating on attending the party. What's the feasibility of this keeping in mind that a) I'm solo so there's no waiting on other people, and b) I will likely ask the server to accelerate the pacing a bit, since it's not like I have to be sitting there talking to anyone (but myself )? More so, how "late" do you think I'd end up being at the party? (I realize that Signatures take a bit more time, but solo with an accelerated pace?)

While I'm not a big parade buff, I wouldn't mind catching the special one. Same deal with fireworks (which I'd assume that I'd make anyway).

Well part of the Halloween Party is that in the past you could enter the park starting at 4pm with the event ticket. So most don't like to "waste" time on a nice dinner.

However, if that isn't an issue and you are really just interested in arriving for the parade and fireworks then I think you will be fine with a 5:45 at Citrico's. I would show up at 5:30 when they open and see about being seated a bit early if possible and plan for an hour max if doing appetizer, entree and dessert. Then just hop on the monorail and you should be in MK by 7pm at the latest.

And--if you want you can eat (a full meal) at the bar. If you do, your server will always be there. That might help speed things along a bit.

Thanks, pretty much what I had figured :). I hadn't thought of the bar, but for some reason at normal restaurants I typically perfer a table anyway. (I do eat out alone quite often).

Thanks again.
