Timing of reservations

How far in advance do you recommend making dinner reservations at Epcot?

If you are staying on property you can make them 180 days ahead of check-in day for 10 days after check-in. If you are going at a busy time or want one of the difficult reservations, I suggest as close to that as possible. Non-peak times are not as important to do at 180 days. we go xmas week each year so we make them right at 180 days and have gotten Le Cellier, Le Chefs with no problem(we also eat very late(9:00pm or so). Last year we were also able to get Via Napoli at 3 months out.

Make them as soon as you know when and where you want to eat. Obviously make the "harder" ones first...but I say why put off for tomorrow what you can do today if you know what you want.

Also depends on the restaurant. A place like San Angel Inn can be done within a few days or even during your trip but don't count on Le Cellier having any availability even 6 mths out.

Best advice, is to make them as soon as you book your trip as long as you're within the 180 day window (for most restaurants).

Because we are fairly local I don't make trip plans more than 3 mths in advance so I'm usually out of luck when it comes to Le Cellier. :(
